After Tila’s first “Shot at Love” show, it seemed that Tila had found true love. MTV offered her a part 2 of the show, but she declined, claiming that she and Bobby (the winner of show 1) were happy together.
But then… it just fell apart. Bobby claimed that Tila had stopped calling him, and changed her number. Tila remained tight lipped… until now.
Tequila told The Associated Press in a recent interview that first-season winner Bobby Banhart never met her parents and the two steadily fell out of touch. She announced their breakup last December.
“I felt like he was starting to get caught up more in the Hollywood world,” said the diminutive MySpace and reality star. “Because when we were talking, he was just talking about meeting with agents and getting his own reality show, and meeting with managers. Of course I was happy for him, but at the same time I thought that was really weird. Because if that’s what you were doing, then why didn’t you mention that while we were shooting? It was just odd to me. Unfortunately it didn’t work out.”
Or maybe MTV just offered her more money.

Ashlee Simpson got married this weekend. Why so soon Ash? Can someone say “shotgun”?
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got hitched Saturday night under tents and amid tight security, but E! News has an insider’s account of the top-secret wedding ceremony and reception.
The ceremony was held in the backyard of parents Joe and Tina Simpson, decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme.“It was magical and beautiful,” says the guest, who termed the whole affair “The Joe Simpson Show.”
After escorting Ashlee down the aisle, Joe Simpson regaled the 100-plus guests with funny and touching stories of his daughter before performing the brief ceremony himself.The elder Simpson got choked up throughout the ceremony, as did Ashlee and Jessica. “They were all crying,” says the source. “It was very moving.”
Seeming to acknowledge the challenges of marrying into the Simpson family, at one point Joe quipped, “Pete is a very patient guy.”
Ashlee wore an ivory Monique Lhuillier gown with a veil for the ceremony, while the bridesmaids were draped in black Vera Wang numbers. The men wore black tuxes with skinny black ties. Guests had been asked to wear dark clothing, and most everyone did, with attire ranging from black jeans and sports coats to fancy black tuxes and dresses.
The reception and dinner followed.
AND Tony Romo showed up. What? Tony Romo was there? I thought he and Jessica broke up?
Jessica and Tony Romo sat at the wedding party table, but the guest observes, “Jessica did not look happy the entire night. She just wasn’t her bubbly self. She was very subdued, and she and Tony barely interacted the entire night, except for some dancing at the end.
“You could tell she was really happy for her sister, but that maybe she was a little bit sad that things aren’t working out as well for her.”
Jessica did, however, give a very emotional, off-the-cuff speech toast, saying that Pete and Ashlee’s relationship “has inspired [her] to love again” and spoke very affectionately of her little sister.
“She apologized for not writing anything more formal,” the guest says, “but it was very much from the heart.”
But IS Ashlee preggers? One guest thought not.
The guest says that for a wedding of two musicians it was subdued, with a DJ and no band. “It was weird. No one was dancing. There was like nobody on the dance floor until after they cut the cake, and then people finally danced.”
After taking photos, the bride livened up and slipped into a “sexy black party dress” and danced. “She managed to hide her pregnancy pretty well,” the source says. “She really didn’t look pregnant.”
Britney Spears appeared in a bikini this week on a Costa Rican beach. She was on a mini-vacation with her dad… and Mel Gibson? (There’s a joke here, but I’ll let Ty tell it later.)
A bikini-clad Britney Spears got her picture taken this weekend while relaxing and soaking up the sun on a Costan Rican beach where she was reportedly staying at actor Mel Gibson’s property.
“She did it again,” the La Nacion daily said Sunday in a play on Spears’ 1999 chart-busting hit “Oops! … I Did It Again.”
“At five minutes to midday (Saturday), the artist appeared on scene on an ATV (all terrain vehicle) driving from the home of Mel Gibson, who invited her to spend a few days in Costa Rica” at his 163-hectare (402-acre) spread in the Pacific coast resort town of Samara, the daily said.
The story included several photos of the troubled pop star on Barrigona beach, in a bikini and sunglasses.
Spears was in the company of her father, Jamie Spears — who apparently told the paparazzi they could shoot all they wanted as long as they kept at a 50-meter (yard) distance — and a young couple, the daily said.
Gibson or his wife, Robyn Moore, were nowhere to be seen, it added.

Shania Twain has finally come to her senses and is divorcing her husband of 15 years. I can expect a phone call from Eileen at any moment. RING YOU DAMN PHONE… RING!
Music mogul Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange has spoken out about his split from country star Shania Twain, revealing the couple was “growing apart”.
Lange has filed for divorce from the singer after 15 years of marriage, and in a brief statement, the music producer admits the separation is “unfortunate.”
He tells People magazine: “It’s just an unfortunate thing that’s happened… It’s literally just a growing apart, that’s all.”
Reports suggest the split was as much of a shock to Twain as it was for her fans.
A source says: “She’s devastated. She’s getting through it with a very close-knit group of family and friends.”
The couple wed in 2003. They have a six-year-old son, called Eja D’angelo.

Is Lana Lang off the show forever?
Yup. Lana is now off the show. She won’t be returning, as actress Kristin Kreuk has moved on. You’ll see her next in the “Street Fighter” movie remake. She plays Chun-Li.
What happens to Lex?
We will have to wait unil the fall to see what happens to Lex & Clark, but this much is certain. Lex will not be on the show anymore either. Michael Rosenbaum (who plays Lex) will not be returning. He wrote the following letter to the fans:
Dear Smallville Fans,
Well, it’s been seven wonderful years. Your support is what has made Smallville so successful, and I appreciate you all more than you know.
That being said, it is time for me to start the next chapter of my life and career. I hope that I gave you some enjoyment over the years, and that you found my portrayal of Lex Luthor to be satisfying. I am truly grateful, as Smallville fans are the best fans out there. I sincerely hope that you will continue to follow my career through my hair growth period and beyond.
I’m very excited about what the future holds, but certainly, Smallville will always be a part of me. I will definitely miss the greatest crew in the world, and the wonderful cast that has been like a family to me.

Will Chloe be back?
With so many people leaving the show, it was a perfect time for Allison Mack (Chloe) to renegotiate her contract. I guess the producers wanted her back, because she got what she wanted and she will be returning.
With only one more season being picked up (for now) this would be the perfect opportunity for the writers of “Smallville” to take a much needed turn in the show. The season finale already showed us that Clark will most likely FINALLY leave the farm and become a reporter at the Bugle. And with Lana out of the picture, a Clark/Lois romance looks to be blooming.
I’d like to see “Smallville” take the leap from teenage fare to a more adult show. Get Clark in the tights and let’s see some SUPERMAN action next season!
