1.
Morgan, you are a fitness expert,
and even have a degree in nutrition!
What kind of work out would
you suggest to someone just
starting out?
For someone who is just starting out, I would suggest starting with a basic cardio
and weight lifting routine that should be performed four to five days a week.
This would include about 30-45 minutes cardio (which can be just a fast paced
walk for beginners) at least three days a week, and then 20 minutes weight lifting
exercises at least three days a week. Most gyms offer free initial consultations
with personal trainers who will show you how to use the weight machines. Fitness
magazines also provide great exercises with great pictures that are easy to follow.
Another option is to purchase a workout video, which allows you to workout in
the comfort of your own home. I really like Denise Austin's videos.. she is a
little peppy.. but her workouts are really good.

As a nutrition expert... do
you cringe every time you pass
by a fast food restaurant?
I wouldn't say that I cringe
at fast food restaurants, but
I do get annoyed by the fact
that they are on almost every
corner. It is possible to eat
a "decent" meal at
a fast food restaurant, but most
people do not select the healthy
options from the menu. I am impressed
with McDonalds new menu item, "the
asian chicken salad". It
actually is really healthy and
tastes pretty good!

So you are out in L.A. modeling.
What are your future plans?
I plan to continue modeling for
as long as possible. I am happy
with where my career has gone
so far, but I still have many
goals within my modeling career
that I intend to reach. I have
traveled many places with modeling,
but I plan to make more international
connections with my career so
I can see more of Europe and
maybe parts of Asia. I also want
to further my acting career.
Modeling, especially swimsuit
modeling, can only last so long,
so I have been taking acting
classes to develop my acting
skills. I would love to land
a role on a sitcom or in a feature
film someday. Outside of the
entertainment industry, I do
plan on settling down someday
and having a family. I love kids
and while I know it won't be
anytime too soon, I still look
forward to the day that I have
kids of my own. Until then, my
little chihuahua does just fine!

Tell us a crazy celebrity/L.A.
story!
Growing up in Southern California,
I have seen my share of celebs
growing up..and I have had my
share of crazy LA nights. Something
I will always remember was the
night of my 18th birthday. I
went out to dinner to my favorite
sushi restaurant in Sunset Beach,
Tsunamis, and Rebecca Romjin-Stamos
and her at the time husband John
Stamos were sitting next to me.
They are both so beautiful and
it was cool that they wished
me a happy birthday. I just liked
the fact that they were down
to earth and genuinely nice people.
Sorry if that isn't the most
exciting story.. but those are
the things I like to remember.

Finally... you live in the
O.C. Since the show, "The
O.C." has come out, what's
the biggest misconception people
have about Orange County?
I think the show makes it look
like everyone in Orange County
either has a ton of money or
a serious problem. It seems like
everyone on the show is either
rich or has a drug or alcohol
problem, or ends up in prison
for one reason or another. Most
of the characters are rich AND
have a serious problem. It is
true that there are some people
in orange county who have a lot
of money and that there are some
people in orange county who have
problems.. but there are lower
income areas and many middle
class families. I don't think
we are nearly as "dramatic" as
the show makes us out to be..
sorry to burst your bubble if
you are a big fan.. but then
again.. maybe I am just used
to it and we are crazy.. haha. |
