Britney Spears surprised guests by showing up to the Generation Rescue autism fundraiser thrown by Jenny McCarthy. It was a surprise because everyone knows Britney hates kids, since she just gave up her own.
As guests like McCarthy’s beau and Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller made the rounds, Spears, 26, sipped on red wine.
Carrey’s daughter Jane also belted out a few Frank Sinatra and Jackson 5 tunes.
Spears, 26, “definitely looked happy,” a witness tells Usmagazine.com. “She was clapping and smiling a lot.”
Looks like Britney isn’t ready to go out on tour just yet, but that’s not stopping her from going on a tour VIRTUALLY. She’s shooting footage to be played (presumably) on a big screen during Madonna’s concerts.
“There is footage being shot of Britney some time this week in conjunction with Madonna’s upcoming (Sticky & Sweet) tour,” Madonna’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, said in an e-mail Tuesday to The Associated Press. “That is all the information I have available. The rest is `a secret.’”

Of course when Britney straightens her hair, now that’s something to blog about! I don’t know why I am still obsessed with this red-neck idiot that lost her body 6 years ago. Maybe I feel like I can FIX Britney! Send her on down here to Florida, and I’ll show her what real work is! I’ll have her vacuuming in high heels and working out on the Wii Fit till she gets her figure back. She can leave the brats at home with K-Fed.
In a statement to E! News, Lynne spells out that Britney wishes to move back to Louisiana.
Lynne goes on to say that while her daughter “has spent a majority of her time over the last five years in the state of California,” she only did so out of necessity both in part for her work and “primarily with respect to a custody dispute currently ongoing. Although Britney has owned her house in Beverly Hills for more than a year, she has also owned her Louisiana residence for eight years…Britney still intends to return to Louisiana.”
Somehow I doubt this. The biggest Attention Ho in Hollywood wouldn’t be able to stay away from the limelight for more than 48 hours. That… and her kids are still in LA with Atten. Douche K-Fed.
However I will say this… Britney is looking fine in these pics. I don’t know why, but I still can’t get this chick out of my twisted back-woods fantasies.
I’m guessing Britney Spears thinks SHE should be on the cover of Vanity Fair. Or maybe she just really hates Julia Roberts and wants to mock her. In any case, she appears to be in a really cold room. Oh… and it also appears that her breasts have a mind of there own, and are trying to migrate off her chest in opposite directions.

A bikini-clad Britney Spears got her picture taken this weekend while relaxing and soaking up the sun on a Costan Rican beach where she was reportedly staying at actor Mel Gibson’s property.
“She did it again,” the La Nacion daily said Sunday in a play on Spears’ 1999 chart-busting hit “Oops! … I Did It Again.”
“At five minutes to midday (Saturday), the artist appeared on scene on an ATV (all terrain vehicle) driving from the home of Mel Gibson, who invited her to spend a few days in Costa Rica” at his 163-hectare (402-acre) spread in the Pacific coast resort town of Samara, the daily said.
The story included several photos of the troubled pop star on Barrigona beach, in a bikini and sunglasses.
Spears was in the company of her father, Jamie Spears — who apparently told the paparazzi they could shoot all they wanted as long as they kept at a 50-meter (yard) distance — and a young couple, the daily said.
Gibson or his wife, Robyn Moore, were nowhere to be seen, it added.

Britney Spears actually looks kinda hot for a mom in these recent shots. Seems she’s hitting the gym BIG TIME and is on a strict diet. And reports are that she is heading back to “How I Met Your Mother” to reprise her role. The cast is… of course… ecstatic!
“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”
The singer/actress will do one episode, the source says.

Apparently, Britney Spears is not completely lacking in maternal instincts after all.
Amid much frenzy, the troubled pop star finally showed up at the Los Angeles County Courthouse around 1:30 pm Monday, ostensibly to fight for the right to see her boys.
However, Spears pal Sam Lutfi told E! News via text message that the throngs of paparazzi awaiting the singer’s arrival made it impossible for her to enter the building, as there was “no way to get her out of the car safely.” Spears’ entourage, including current boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, circled three times before giving up.
Now after all this… I just saw on CNN.com (yes THAT CNN) that there was some sort of hearing going on, so I think Brit made it last minute. I would say I’ll keep you updated, but since I don’t really give a shite, I doubt that you do either.

A court commissioner decided Monday to keep in effect an order suspending Britney Spears’ right to visit her two sons and keeping them in the custody of ex-husband Kevin Federline.
