    I’m from Denmark myself, and i know how people reacted, 3 ambasades where burned down because of these cartoons.

    But if people want to die for 72 raisins and dates it’s ok!
    It’s just sad that people believe all thats being said by the religios leaders, one of the most important messages send by all religions is not to kill.

    I would like to say that Fox news did show the cartoon. It was on studio b with shepard smith and brit hume showed it as did bill oreilly. I think it was on some other shows too. I don’t care what offends muslims, as a white, middle class, heterosexual, Christian, male, I get offended every day. The sad part is no one cares about what offends me. I get offended that 1/3rd of my generation has been wiped out by abortion. I get offended that I have to pay six hundred dollars a month if I want my kids to sing away in a manger at Christmas time. I get offended that people can desicrate the flag that good friends of mine have died for. I get offended that people are oposed to a war that they dont understand. There are many times I want to bomb a building to shoot people or force people to agree with me however this is a nation of laws and I dont have that option. So I’ll just keep going to work and voting Republican.

    The fact that you mention Fox and Bill Oreilly says enough about the kind of person you are… First of all, before any of you make a remark on this, yes I live in Belgium (a country far far away) no I don’t dislike America (beautiful country imo, would really like to see all of it) and no, I don’t think the islamic community is right when they are offended by cartoons or whatever…
    The thing that disturbs me in your post is the Fox part and your examples of daily disappointments. First of all, the Fox part. I can be short on this, I studied journalism and had a very good case-study of Fox Television and good ol’ Rupert -I have an opinion and you shall are share it- Murdoch. Fox Television is, quite simply put, pure propaganda for the republican party. There have been societies in the past that used propaganda in the media as well when it comes to politics. I normally hesitate to make this comparison, but Fox Television just wants to scare the hell out of people and the republicans will gladly use that in their opinions. “Don’t go to that neighbourhood, you’ll most likely get shot”, “people have to have the right to carry firearms whenever and wherever they feel like it”, “everything is going well in Iraq, we’re building schools and the children are happy, hooray for us”,… I can go on all day with this and please, don’t tell me that I don’t know what I’m saying because I live in Belgium. I’ve had the pleasure of analyzing Fox newsshows, every single day for a whole two years. It’s always the same, scaring people, spreading lies and just trick people into voting for the republicans. Convincing people all is going well in the way America is going right now. Well honestly, your government is just as wrong as some of the muslim people out there. Your president doesn’t succeed in coming up with worthy replies to some of the questions the world asks him and he neglects the whole UN. Even if you are the big US of A, you don’t have the right to neglect something that was specifically designed to prevent stuff like WWII from ever happening again. Anyways, I hope there are good people left in America that don’t swallow the crap and the lies that Fox/republicans push up their asses every day. Oh, one positive note about Fox though, they give us The Simpsons, thank you for that!
    I won’t go into detail on your personal feelings, only that I regret your view on abortion. Some women are victims and benefit of an abortion. A child changes a lot. I can imagine a girl from 15 (yes, sane and healthy people have sex before marriage… not being able to take care of a child. They will both become a marginal part of society and abortion can save both their lives. But once again, this is my personal opinion. I’m not a devoted christian but I don’t try to judge every religious person either.
    As to your war, you took away the chaos and created another form of chaos. It will take years and years for Iraq to become a good place to live again, if it will ever. You created much more hatred from islamic communities. I agree that Saddam was a dictator and that he had to be removed. I just think you should have waited untill the world was ready for it, instead of acting on your own. You can’t dictate the world, stop thinking you can and start using your brains, they’re there for a reason.

    P.S.: this doesn’t go out to every American, alot of people are opening their eyes now and are seeing what is really going on! Respect to these people, keep on doing that and help your friends and neighbours to do the same. Get the republicans out of the White House, before it’s too late…

    Well first of all you’re from Europe so you’re not going to like Republicans. Europeans are socialists, Republicans are capitolists. Here is the thing, America isn’t and never has been socialist country. So therefore we’re not going to support a bunch of socialist things. Think about it there have been two democrat presidents in the last forty years, Americans aren’t liberal, liberals are just loud. Fox news is called a propaganda machine by liberals. Since the begining of the free press liberals have had control over every form of media, and now that Fox shows both sides liberals are going crazy. If Fox was so wrong than thirteen of the sixteen most watched cable news shows wouldn’t be on that channel. More people watch Bill Oreilly’s second re-run at two a.m. than watch Chris Mathews first showing. Stay in Europe and keep your opinions about America to yourself.

    Another example of a recent big article: An insurance company is being sued because someone died awaiting a transplant, those evil capitalist assholes. However, you read further and find out that the procedure wasn’t covered under the insurance, was experimental, had only a 35% chance of success, and if successful MIGHT have given a vegetable another 6 months before dying anyway, when said transplant COULD go to someone with better odds. But they went ahead and wrote an exception AT THEIR EXPENSE. But this is a “right wing” media?

    Hey, Tonyukuk. 60% of US oil comes from the US, Canada and Mexico. Most of the rest (about 30%) comes from Venezuela and Nigeria. 9% comes from the Middle East, of which 2/3 is from Saudi Arabia and most of 1/3 from Kuwait. None comes from Iraq.

    The Canadian and Venezuelan Tar Sands alone contain more oil than the entire Mudslime world.

    We can also burn corn. You can’t eat oil.

    What can be better than having a powerful nation like the US to act in twofold roles, an International police and the jury altogether, huh? Criminal, dangerous nations, or in US-term, axis of evil, like former Afghanistan and Iraq administration, along with North Korea and Iran, can be seized, prosecuted, punished. Very easy. US can also control which nations can have nuke technology and which cannot, regardless the reasons behind having such technology. Don’t ask who or what gives such authority for US to do so, because US doesn’t care. It’s American way, anyway.

    So the fact is, Bushy administration cannot be condemned, because oil is not the case. US can burn corns, like Azol said, and use the energy to power the whole country. If US is lacking corn, they will burn Muslims living in the US. Problem solved.

    Homosexuality

    Islam has the effect of denying Muslim boys and girls the opportunity to develop their sexuality in a normal, wholesome fashion. The public mixing of sexes is prohibited by Islam although it may be tolerated by the secular governments of most Muslim nations. Denied the opportunity to have normal heterosexual experiences during adolescence and frequently the victims of sexual abuse by male relatives while they were growing up it is no wonder that Muslims are much more likely than infidels to find romance and sexual gratification in homosexual relationships.     In an unprecedented two-page special investigation, the daily newspaper Okaz said lesbianism was “endemic” among schoolgirls. It justified the article with a saying of the Prophet’s wife Ayeshathat “there should be no shyness in religion”. The article told of lesbian sex in school lavatories, girls stigmatised after refusing the advances of their fellow students, and teachers complaining that none of the girls were willing to change their behaviour.

    Mr Ghaith dismissed a suggestion that he should send his “enforcers” to investigate. Armed with sticks, they routinely hunt down men and women in public they suspect may not be directly related. “This perversion is found in all countries,” he told Okaz. “The number [of homosexuals] here is small …” That assessment is contradicted by teachers and students who say that, in the absence of other outlets, a “gay” subculture has inevitably flourished among youth.

    Ahmed, 19, a student at a private college in Jeddah, said there was no shame in having a boyfriend in his private high school. Although he firmly rejected the label “gay”, he admitted that he now has a “special friend” in college, too. “It’s those who don’t have a boy who are ashamed to admit it. We introduce our boy to our friends as ‘al walid hagi’ [the boy who belongs to me]. At the beginning of term, we always check out the new boys to see which are the most ‘helu’ [sweet] and think of ways to get to know them.”

    Gay marriage is not the contemporary invention of decadent Western civilization. The Egyptian city of Siwa has for centuries legitimized and celebrated marriages between Muslim men. No other community has done more to suppress heterosexual behavior thereby making homosexuality the norm.     If you have a particular interest in the Islamic persecution of homosexuals al-bab.com is a good place to pursue it further. As this form of barbarity is inflicted on Muslims by Muslims and is relatively rare I will not dwell on the matter much further. The overwhelming majority of homosexuals who have been murdered by Muslims died because they were infidels. Count the millions murdered and multiply by whatever percentage incidence of homosexuality you fancy. You will get a very, very large number in return.

That imperative was relaxed in the 13th century when it became clear to Muslim rulers that exterminating the entire Hindu population of India was impractical. Muslim subjects who were not People of the Book were allowed to become dhimmis (protected subject peoples) under the following conditions:

    “Those who agree to pay jizyah are to be treated as zimmîs who are allowed to live and work for the Islamic state under the following 20 disabilities: (1) they are not to build any new places of worship; (2) they are not to repair any old places of worship which have been destroyed by the Muslims; (3) they are not to prevent Muslim travellers from staying in their places of worship; (4) they are to entertain for three days any Muslim who wants to stay in their homes, and for a longer period if the Muslim falls ill; (5) they are not to harbour any hostility towards the Islamic state, or give any aid and comfort to hostile elements; (6) they are not to prevent any one of them from getting converted to Islam; (7) they have to show respect towards every Muslim; (8) they have to allow Muslims to participate in their private meetings; (9) they are not to dress like Muslims; (10) they are not to name themselves with Muslim names; (11) they are not to ride on horses with saddle and bridle; (12) they are not to possess arms; (13) they are not to wear signet rings or seals on their fingers; (14) they are not to sell or drink liquor openly; (15) they are to wear a distinctive dress which shows their inferior status, and which separates them from the Muslims; (16) they are not to propagate their customs and usages amongst the Muslims; (17) they are not to build their houses in the neighbourhood of Muslims; (18) they are not to bring their dead near the graveyards of the Muslims; (19) they are not to observe their religious practices publicly, or mourn their dead loudly; and (20) they are not to buy Muslim slaves.”

    Saudi sheikh Marzouq Salem al-Ghamdi concisely summarized the current consensus viewpoint of the major schools of Islamic jurisprudence in a television sermon he delivered in 2002:

    “If the infidels live among the Muslims, in accordance with the conditions set out by the Prophet — there is nothing wrong with it provided they pay the jizya (tolerance tax) to the Islamic treasury. Other conditions are … that they do not renovate a church or monastery, do not rebuild ones that were destroyed, that they feed for three days any Muslim who passes by their homes … that they rise when a Muslim wishes to sit, that they do not imitate Muslims in dress or speech, nor ride horses, nor own swords, nor arm themselves with any kind of weapon; that they do not sell wine, do not show the cross, do not ring church bells, do not raise their voices during prayer, they shave their hair in front so as to make them easily identifiable, do not incite anyone against the Muslims, and do not strike a Muslim … If they violate these conditions, they have not protection.”

    There is a fiction retailed by Muslims and their infidel apologists to the effect that Jews were well-treated by their Muslim masters and that the two groups once lived together in peace and harmony. Bernard Lewis, a distinguished Orientalist, in 1968 took exception to that lie.

    “The golden age of equal rights was a myth, and belief in it was a result, more than a cause, of Jewish sympathy for Islam. The myth was invented in 19th-century Europe as a reproach to Christians — and then taken up by Muslims in our time as a reproach to Jews … European travellers to the East in the age of liberalism and emancipation are almost unanimous in deploring the degraded and precarious position of Jews in Muslim countries, and the dangers and humiliations to which they were subject. Jewish scholars, acquainted with the history of Islam and with the current situation in Islamic lands, can have had no illusions on this score. Vambery [1904] is unambiguous: “I do not know any more miserable, helpless, and pitiful individual on God’s earth than the Jahudi in those countries.”

    The conditions of dhimmitude spelled out in Sharia law are the minimum required for protection. At various times and places infidel subjects have been subjected to even greater abuses at the direction of local Muslim rulers. Islam specifies that infidel subjects must be humiliated and utterly subdued. Muslims in the past have been ingeniously cruel in finding new ways to make that so.     Tonyukuk,

    I created this account just to reply to you. It took me five minutes just to understand your post as it was most likely written by an 8 year old. I know allot of Muslims that are good people, however your stupidity is an insult to them all. NOBODY killed 1.2 billion people you fucking idiot. There are only about 6.6 billion people in the entire world. Also, when you say things like, “9/11 at Twin towers only 2 thousand people died”, it kind of worries me. Referring to the death toll of 9/11 as “only” doesn’t really make the Muslim people seem very peaceful. I find it very offensive that you deem it necessary to butcher the English language as you did. “Are you read any book about his life?” To that I simply reply no I haven’t and you haven’t either. I say this because someone with your poor, poor grammar would probably take 3-4 days to read a paragraph let alone an entire biographical book. Electronic engineer? No, no, no, I seriously doubt it dumbass. On a lighter note, I think you should stop surfing the web and maybe go back to school. There are some really good elementary schools in my area filled with children that can write 10-20 times better than you ever will unless you do something about it.
