Well, here’s one way to get people talking about what would have been an otherwise obscure music video.
Singer Devendra Banhart, better known as Natalie Portman’s boyfriend, asked the Oscar-winning actress to play a princess in the Bollywood-inspired video for his song “Carmensita.”

Not sure how this is her “jumping the shark”. She’s just doing a music video, this won’t do anything to her movie career.

That was weird and stupid. But music videos are weird and stupid sometimes by nature. I’ll forgive Natalie Portman for this because she’s obviously in love, and sometimes people do stupid things when in love. She’ll probably regret this later, but like elosefast said; this won’t do anything to her movie career.

Won’t hurt her career and maybe she did it just for fun and support of her beau, but damn that was weird. I couldn’t even watch it all.
